Gordon and Barbara Johnson have put together a gem of a resort on the pristine shores of Mallard Lake. There is activities galore, and when you just want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, they have groomed nature trails teeming with wildlife. The cabins are beyond clean, and include everything you need to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
This will be our family's 25th year vacationing at this resort. We love it here, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The lake is clean and beautiful, the beach is large and sandy with a clean gently sloped swimming area, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. We have always stayed in the cabins, but the campground appears well cared for too. From the beach amenities and playground area to the clean and regularly upgraded cabins, to the welcoming family-friendly lodge, you can tell the owners (Barb and Gordon) have put their hearts and souls into this little piece of heaven. Truly a five-star vacation destination!
Barb and Gordy very nice people and run a beautiful resort. Cabins are always great and lots of things for kids to do. And the best burgers I have ever had ! Been coming hear for 19 years and never a disappointment.
Such a wonderful family friendly resort. We are so excited to make this an annual tradition over the fourth of July with our family and friends. The beach is so clean and the water is so clear. The cabins are spacious and clean, and the owners are wonderful.
Our family rented a cabin a couple years ago and really enjoyed the peace and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. Our family liked it so much we inquired a site for the season. It is the cleanest and fun campground! They strive to keep it nice and very helpful, the food is so good too. Our kids love the cheese curds and grabbing a snack, We love seeing their memories build at Mallard Lake.
We had a camper here for 5yrs and then a park model for 5yrs from 2002’-12”. This Resort was part of the best 10yrs of my life. Stopped in here again after 13yrs away to see if they still had the best burger in town. They did not disappoint. Wish this Resort was still part of our life, maybe someday it will be again. This lake has the best water around. Great stuff for all the water toys you like to play with. You can actually see fish swimming around on the bottom at 20’. That’s clear water. When we had a power outage and realized late at night the water still hadn't come on, you were out by 8am the next day to re-prime the pump and get us back on our worry-free vacation. Thank you!
